I know it's quite popular already but I would have to say Auto Necro chess for Takeover Tuesday. it's a must play for anyone who hasn't, and even after beating it I still come back once in a while.

I had actually played this before, despite it being such a big hit. It certainly looks beautiful and it's pretty fun to play, but not really my genre!
There are just too many good games. I don't think it's possible to decide a definitive best for me. Two of my suggestions, Living with anxiety and Time fcuk were already featured by others. Naya's Quest started off good, but I never really understood the layering properly. Plus the controls were a bit janky too. A good game, but not in the same league as VVVVV!
